Welcome to CDLC!

Hello! The Child Development and Learning Center (CDLC) offers a safe, loving Christian environment with respect and support for all children and families. We provide opportunities for each child to define self, understand who they are and discover their role within the community. We encourage physical, social, emotional and spiritual growth for each child.

CDLC of Prince of Peace, founded in 1971, is a Christian half-day preschool for children ages 3 to 5. It began with 30 students and currently serves 225 children each week. We welcome children of any cultural background or religious affiliation.

At CDLC we strive to provide and develop strong self-esteem in our children allowing them to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. The curriculum is carefully designed to provide hands-on activities for children in the areas of large motor, cooking, music, creative arts, science and story.

It is the process, not the product, of play that is essential in developing the foundational skills of life.

Our Mission Statement

The Christian preschool at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church welcomes all families and celebrates each child as a gift from God. We develop strong self-esteem in our children by guiding them to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively.
