CDLC is blessed with a wonderful, caring group of education professionals with years of experience, consisting of teachers, aides and administrators. All of our staff members are certified in CPR and first aid.

Miss Marie – Director

Marie became the Director at CDLC in July of 2015. Marie has Bachelor of Science degrees in Family and Child Development from Mankato State University, Elementary Education and Kindergarten from Winona State University and Early Childhood Education from the College of St. Catherine. Marie has two grown children. She is an avid card maker, seamstress, gardener and Minnesota Wild fan.

Miss Linda – Office Manager

Linda has been the Office Manager at CDLC since June of 1999. Linda has a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development & Family Relations from North Dakota State University. She has two grown children who attended CDLC. Linda and her family are dedicated supporters of Be The Match and the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

Miss Tammy (P. Mooney) – Language Arts Specialist

Tammy returned to teaching at CDLC in September 2012 after taking a few years off to raise her own family. Tammy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Educational/Counseling Psychology and Business from Ball State University in Indiana. Tammy has two children who attended CDLC. She is an avid crafter and a great cook.

Miss Nancy – Teacher

Nancy began teaching at CDLC in February 1976. Nancy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University. Nancy has two grown children who attended CDLC. When she is not teaching, Nancy is busy playing with her grandchildren.

Miss Joan – Teacher

Joan began teaching at CDLC in September 1987. Joan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursery School, Kindergarten & Preschool Education from the University of Minnesota. Joan fills her non-teaching hours with grandchildren, golf, reading and travel.

Miss Sue – Teacher

Sue began teaching at CDLC in September 1990. Sue has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Child Psychology and Biology from the University of Minnesota. Sue has three children and four grandchildren who attended CDLC. She volunteers at Minnesota Zoo and Children’s Theater.

Miss Connie – Teacher

Connie began teaching at CDLC in January 1994. Connie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Medaille College. Connie has two grandchildren who attended CDLC. She loves cats and to travel.

Miss Michelle – Teacher

Michelle began teaching at CDLC in September 2002. Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University. Michelle has two children who attended CDLC. She also teaches summers at the Minnesota Zoo.

Miss Kelly – Teacher

Kelly began working as an aide at CDLC in September 2004 and began teaching in September 2013. Kelly attended Normandale Community College. She has two children who attended CDLC. Kelly is a busy parent when not taking care of everyone at CDLC.

Miss Kelsey – Teacher

Kelsey began teaching at CDLC in September 2012. Kelsey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from St. Norbert College and a Master’s degree in Teaching & Learning from St. Mary’s University. Kelsey has two children who attended CDLC. She enjoys cooking in her spare time.

Miss Brittany – Teacher

Brittany began teaching at CDLC in September 2015. Brittany has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State University. Brittany has two children who attended CDLC. She is a passionate supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Miss Dana – Teacher

Dana began teaching at CDLC in September 2016. Dana has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology/Special Education from the University of Minnesota. Dana has two grown children. When Dana is not teaching she and her family enjoy playing and watching sports.

Miss Heather – Teacher

Heather began teaching at CDLC in September 2016. Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education/Early Childhood Education from Edinboro University. Heather has three children, one of whom attended CDLC. When Heather is not teaching she is a very busy mom.

Miss Maureen – Teacher

Maureen began teaching at CDLC in September 2016. Maureen has an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Education from Normandale Community College and is working on her degree in Child Development. Maureen attended CDLC as a child and has three children who all attended CDLC. When Maureen is not teaching she is a very busy mom and a strong advocate for Autism Awareness.

Miss Dorean – Aide

Dorean began assisting at CDLC in September 2013. Dorean also works in the Prince of Peace Infant Toddler Center. She has two children and is a very active volunteer at Prince of Peace and her children’s schools.

Miss Shay – Aide

Shay began assisting at CDLC in September 2016. Shay has years of experience as a dance instructor. She has three children who attended CDLC. Shay is a busy mom and devotes many hours to her extended family.

Miss Essie – Aide

Essie began assisting at CDLC in January 2017. Essie has an Associate Degree in Human Services from Rochester Community and Technical College. She has two children, one of whom attended CDLC. Essie spends as much time as possible communing with nature.
